A Note to Our Patrons
Dear colleagues,
We wanted to let you know that Sentara Library staff recently learned the library is scheduled to close effective September 1, 2026. We are still working to understand exactly how (or whether) basic library services will continue, and we will keep you updated as more details become available. This news came as a surprise to all of us.
It has been our genuine honor and pleasure to support you with timely, high-quality resources for patient care, research, and professional development. We encourage you to share your experiences with the library—both how it has helped you in the past and how this change may affect you going forward. Your feedback will help us advocate for solutions and mitigate impacts as much as possible before we sunset the service.
