OTA International is an open access, orthopaedic trauma journal published on behalf of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA). The journal aims are to further knowledge, foster innovation, support research and education and promote quality and good clinical practice in the field of orthopaedic trauma within a global setting.
Through close association with the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and its International Section, as well as the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, OTA International is an open access forum for global orthopaedic trauma with rapid electronic publication of peer-reviewed, high-quality basic research and clinical studies related to the field of orthopedic trauma surgery. The journal provides both scientific innovation and educational material, disseminates clinical trial information and registry data and highlights key scientific advances presented at meetings held by global orthopaedic associations and trauma societies as well as national and international orthopaedic trauma collaboratives. The journal has high standards of peer review set by exceptional leaders within the orthopaedic community which allows for an insightful approach to presenting significant developments in trauma surgery throughout the world.
